UVSS – Overview
UVSS – Digital Colour UVSS provides unmatched reliability for vehicle undercarriage inspections of any hidden explosive devices, weapons, foreign & suspicious objects, contraband and stowaways. Catering to different site condition and operation requirement, Digital Colour UVSS is available in Surface mount, Flush mount and Portable design.
The complete system includes the followings:
- Screening Unit consists of a single high-resolution digital camera fitted inside a stainless-steel protective housing, and white LED illumination units providing the perfect lighting for capturing of the entire undercarriage’s image in true colour.
- Power and Interface Unit is a junction for all the cables and supplying power to all the camera and lighting systems within the UVSS system.
- Operating Unit is preloaded with proprietary HL Digital Colour Screening Software, Operator having full control of the system and view a complete undercarriage image through the LED screen.

- Captures vehicle speed of up to 60 km/h in high resolution.
- Image captures and display in 3 seconds.
- Screen vehicles of all sizes.
- Retrieve and archive of image records into a database with automatic date & time stamping for future review and investigation.
- Data protection with security log-in at different level.
- Different mounting design available for different site and operation requirement (Surface mount, Flushed mount or Portable).
- Integration with other security gadgets such as LPRS (License Plate Recognition System), General Scene Camera, barriers, etc.
